ITX01 Audio Mode Cycling Issue

  • Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with my ITX01. The problem is that, when using the 3.5mm audio output, the device constantly cycles through the different audio modes (HiFi, Movie, etc.).

My guess is that it might be a "loose connection" with the USB-C cable connecting to the computer, as even the slightest movement seems to cause the audio mode to change. I've tried to ignore it for a while, but it’s become too disruptive.

Is there a way to disable the audio modes entirely? I only ever use the HiFi (yellow) mode. Alternatively, could you provide a guide to open the unit and check it internally?

    Thank you for your help!

  • Hi @Luis

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about the issue with your ITX01. That sounds frustrating, and we’re here to help.

To investigate what might be causing this (maybe a connection issue like you mentioned), we’ve sent you an email with some steps to try out and see if we can get things working smoothly.

Thanks for your patience while we sort this out with you!

  • Hi, i have the same exact problem with my ikko itx01. Its quite disturbing when playing games (especialy shooter game) because when it changes mode, the headphone disconnect for some seconds and have different sound profile afterward while my hand are both used (i cant change the mode back in the mean time).

Have you resolve the problem? i also want to lock the HiFi mode without changing to any other mode if possible.

if you have, can you tell me the solution?

    Thank you in advance ^^

  • Hi iKKO team,

I’m experiencing the same issue with my ITX01. When using both the 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs, the device randomly cycles through audio modes, often triggered by very slight movement of the USB-C cable or the unit itself. This makes normal use extremely disruptive.

    Could you please clarify:

    • whether this is a known hardware or design issue,

    • if there is any way to lock or disable the audio modes, or

    • if a firmware update, repair, or replacement is available?

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to a concrete solution.

    Best regards,
